Volunteering at St. James is a great way to get involved in our community and parish, share your talents, and contribute meaningfully. People volunteer for many reasons, like giving back, deepening their faith, meeting likeminded people, and supporting causes.

We offer diverse opportunities, including:

  • Liturgical roles (lector, etc.)
  • Religious education - such as Sunday school
  • Outreach activities (food bank, thrift shop, libraries, and more)
  • Gardening
  • Hospitality
  • Practical support (office work and maintenance)
